Jardin William Christie A Deregel

2017 Temporary garden

William Christie has long been committed to the education and training of young musicians, and in the same spirit, with a view to encouraging young landscape designers, launched the Maryvonne Pinault Prize in 2015. For the 2017 edition, he once again held a prize for the creation of a temporary garden at the annual festival   Dans les Jardins de William Christie.

The competition for the 2017 Temporary Garden is open to young landscape designers.

The winners are selected by the jury alternately: the even years a competition is organized in the form of a call for applications; the odd years the jury gives a carte blanche to a young landscaper of its choice.

In 2017, the jury will give free rein to two young landscape designers: Marguerite Ribstein and Grégory Cazeaux. The ephemeral garden that they will create will constitute a new setting for one of the "promenades musicales" offered during the festival Dans les Jardins de William Christie, which will take place from August 19 to 26 in Thiré in the Vendée.
