For more than 60 years, the Ripaud family has been traveling the globe in search of exceptional plants to acclimatize to northern Europe. From Parisian squares to royal gardens, from cathedral closes to leisure parks, from festivals to flower shows, from municipal parks to private backyards: the 25 million plants, trees, and shrubs cultivated by the Ripaud nurseries are everywhere in France and abroad.
Based in the Vendée, Ripaud is one of the largest nurseries in France, and in just 20 years has become the French leader in the art of topiary.
The Ripaud nurseries are prooud to support fresh new talent in French landscape design through two remarkable events: the International Garden Festival of Chaumont-sur-Loire, and the festival Dans les Jardins de William Christies at Thiré in the Vendée, and in particular the Temporary garden competition.
