For General Audiences: discovering baroque music

Drawing on a heritage built from over thirty years' existence and experience in stage direction, performance and research, Les Arts Florissants has developed a wide range of educational and cultural activities adapated to all audiences.

Part of our approach to the transmission of music involves reaching new audiences, with a special focus on young audiences. We aim to help them discover Baroque music, its texts and its worlds, which still touch our emotions today thanks to the passion of William Christie and the artists of Les Arts Florissants.

Our Discovery activities are many and varied, and aim always to engage active participation from the audience. They are carried out with regular partners of Les Arts Florissants, and generally have a direct link to the Ensemble's concert programme.
